Adrian Maxwell listed in UK’s top 100 manufacturers

Adrian Maxwell, MD of multi award-winning Fracino, has been named within the top 20 of the prestigious Manufacturers Top 100.

The list, which celebrates the cream of UK manufacturing talent, sees Adrian commended alongside JCB’s Lord Bamford, Dr Tony Bastock OBE of Contract Chemicals, Jane Atkinson Cape of PLC and Dr Hamid Mughal of Rolls-Royce.

Shortlisted individuals were nominated by readers of the Manufacturer, the wider industrial community and the public, for their contributions in changing the face of industry; finding new markets; making marked investment in people, processes and customers; as well as notable young apprentices.

When Adrian joined his father from Rolls-Royce in 1987, Fracino’s turnover was £250k and there was just the two of them in the business.

Becoming MD in 2007, Adrian has achieved double digit growth year on year - powering turnover to an unprecedented £4.1 million with £500k profitability in 2014, a 17% sales increase - and a now 50-strong team.
