Human Rights and Modern Slavery Policy
Fracino is the UK’s only commercial espresso machine manufacturer employing some 70 team members, providing sales and technical support throughout the UK and Ireland. Fracino has been established since 1963 and is family owned and run by Frank Maxwell as Chairman and Adrian Maxwell as Managing Director.
Our team are the heart and soul of our company and everyone is considered to be part of the Fracino family and we therefore take great care in operating our business and in selecting our business partners and suppliers. The products we sell are manufactured in our production facility in Birmingham, UK with over 85% of the components produced in the facility. Non-manufactured parts and services are sourced from a broad range of suppliers from within the local region or Europe
Our Supply Chain
We are committed to our corporate social responsibilities at a local, national and international level. We internally review our supply chain to assess both human trafficking and slavery risk. Our Procurement team is fully committed and focused on ensuring that we purchase goods only from legitimate companies that meet all appropriate legislation and are not in any way engaged in or associated with Modern Slavery or Human Trafficking.
Our suppliers are required to comply with our Ethical Trading Policy and we undertake ethical audits and a full Company profile including hours of work, labour practices, working conditions, onsite accommodation, health & safety, environment, supply chain management and wages. We also require compliance with our Company’s Code of Business Ethics and Conduct and Anti-Slavery Policy.
Company-wide risk assessments are carried out to highlight any areas where we may be vulnerable to the risk of modern slavery and, where necessary, will strengthen our processes in the areas highlighted. We review our Supplier due diligence and audit processes to ensure compliance with the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and our Supplier Trading Terms and Ethical Trading Policy ensure their compliance with the Act.
Should any instances of non-compliance with the Act arise in relation to any of our suppliers then this will be assessed and appropriate and concise action taken.
